Great rod for small creeks

Just used my tenkara rod package in the upper Olgilvies Creek, Kosciuszco National Park. Great day, hooked four small trout using hopper patterns. Rod was excellent in a small stream where there is no need to cast over any distance. Light and so simple to use for a beginner, allowing me to concentrate on fishing rather than casting and fly retrieval. Packed up easily for the bike ride into and out of the fishing area.
