Great rod at a great price

Picked up this rod because my 2 piece Scott is too big to take down to Tasmania. Must say, I was a little unsure at first, but after a couple of casts the rod really started to perform. It is pretty good at casting large flies for its size, and also shoots line out beautifully when you get the hang of it. Absolute steal for the price and will likely become my go to rod for all travel. It has a good qualify feel about it. Thanks Mike!

Over 25yrs I have owned about 2 dozen fly rods

Over 25yrs I have owned about 2 dozen fly rods. I've finally got a chance to give these 2 a flick in the park since getting out of rehab. I must say I was impressed and shocked for how good they perform for their price. These 2 shoot line easier, smoother, and gracefully than any $800-$1200 rod I have had in the past. The only rods I can judge it against was my gloomis GLX 6WT, and my old Strudwick TPS 5WT. that said, I'm really happy and using a $30 line lol. Thanks Mike Tenner. Leigh Bewley

8 foot 4 weight

I am very happy with the 8 foot 4 wt rod. I have had it out twice now and pleased with both its close presentation and also its ability to allow you to throw a long cast precisely as well hen needed. I also appreciate the extra tip section as accidents happen. Well done on a well priced rod that performs very well.
